Last night we met up with Tom's diving group and watched the scuba DVD which was very cool to see what they all got up to and how it all worked. Then we moseyed on down to Sairee where we all had dinner at Choppers and drinks at Pure (bar right on the beach with candles everywhere - gorgeous!). Another lazy day... Went to a brilliant restaurant last night and chilled on the beach. Woke up far too late this morning and seem to have done nothing all day apart from aquired serious travellers legs. Ew. Am going to do some shopping in Sairee and prepare myself for 3 hour hellish boat trip to Koh Phangan tomorrow. Argh...

Hey dudes and dudettes, its been raining all morning today so i've been stuck in 7 eleven waiting for it to pass and waiting for a completely incompetant thai bank man to explain to me why he couldnt hand over the 3000 baht that his ATM had just stolen off me. So I'm broke and bored - hooray! Anyone got any good games...?!

I got up early today and enjoyed a leisurely brekkie at Cafe del Sol (awful name, great place). After that I took the walk up the main road from Mae Heed to Sairee village (which I wont be doing again; lots of crazy Thai people risking their lives on scooters) and settled on the beach to read my book, although there is an over load of mental wild dogs here who have a tendancy to try and kill eachother while sitting right next to you so decided to plant myself on ...

After a not-so-bad coach journey and a seriously hellish boat trip we finally arrived in Koh Tao. It is really beautiful here; everyone stays in mini bungalow type buildings right on the beach. There is one main road with quite a few little ones coming off it. There are lots of western restaurants (phew) and a lot of clothes shops. We are staying in the Crysta Dive Resort (as Tom is doing a diving course) and we get our own mini bungalow which is nice - no hot wa...
