We had an uber early start today and got on our first Oz Bus heading towards Barrington Tops, near Gloucester and the Hunter Valley. We stayed in the most awesome place; a large ranch type place in the middle of nowhere where we were fed like kings and sat around the lof fire chatting and singing along to the guitar... sounds weird I know, wasn't that bad! It was so remote it was unreal, no TV, internet etc... Some people opted for night kayaking but I decided on the hot tub! At about 11 we all got on the bus again and headed for the nearest TV (40 minutes away) to watch the footie (England vs Paraguay). It was being shown in one of the pubs in Gloucester which was an 'experience'. It was full of extremely red neck, over weight, strange Australian men. And women. Anyway we watched the match and went back to the ranch. We were all gettin into bed etc... when Ish (guy in our group) spotted a ... POSSUM - and this wasn't just any possum it was possum-zilla I swear, it was HUGE! Tom had to chase the monster out while I was freaking out on top of the tables!
