Well it seems an age since I last left an entry - but we've done so much! We spend a day walking up the Nathan Road constantly being hassled with "yoo waa rolex waa?" (you want rolex watch?!) as we are obvious tourist to them. We caught the star ferry over to Hong Kong Centre which was awesome. The skyscrapers are just magnificent. We saw loads of iconic buildings like the bank of China, Building of 1000 arse-holes(!) etc... We caught the tram up to the peak which was spectacular, the view over the city was fab. We also visited Hong Kong Park which was really beautiful - it had an aviary, fountains, waterfalls etc... We then caught the bus to Repulse bay (pretty beach, home to the rich) which was interesting as the bus driver was possibly the most unhelpful person in the whole of Asia; I went to give my money for a ticket but he just shrugged his shoulders and I ended up putting about $2 in a box?! We wandered back down the Nathan Road seeing yet more bamboo scaffolding - CRAZY!! and headed for dinner. Still not getting to sleep until 4 in the morning!!
