Merry Christmas everybody!!!!!

I hope you had a good day!!!!!!

I had such a nice day! Our boat trip was so much fun. We were lucky to have really nice people on our boat, which is always good!

So i met up with Sam again on the 23rd, when she got back from work. It was sO good to see her again! Couldnt believe it had been 6 weeks since id seen her! We had so much to tell each other about our travels, so we blethered all day by the lagoon and then headed to the chinese for a pre-christmas dinner! It was VERY tasty! We had to leave for our boat trip the next day at 12pm, but had to get up early to sort loads of stuff out. We hadnt even booked our bus down to Sydney yet, so we did all that in the morning (aswell as doing Christmas videos to send home, but they wouldnt upload!!! :-( ) Met up with everyone at the marina at 12ish and got fitted up for our stinger suits!!!!!!!! Top fashion! Then we left on our travels at around 1pm. Got to our first spot at around 4pm, just in time for a snorkel. I was really scared, but i was really brave when Sam help my hand!!!!! Now i love snorkelling! Its SO beautiful! You feel like your entering a whole different world! So amazing! So we spent about an hour in the water and then got back on board in time for some spag bol! Snorkelling makes you hungry so i think i had 2nds, 3rds and 4ths! We anchored at a different place for the night which was beautiful. So many stars out in the middle of no-where!! We stayed up drinking til about 11.30, because me and sam wanted to be in bed for santa coming!!!!!! BUT everyone else stayed up and were REALLY load, so we ended up being awake til around 2am. Its SO hot in the boat! No air con! Sharing a bed with sam so i dint sleep very well, but you cant be grumpy in the mornings when you get on deck and remember where you are!!!!! We were SO lucky with the weather. So christmas morning we had breakfast and got on our way to Whitehaven beach which is the headlining beach of the whitsundays! (you will see why when you look at the photos!!!!) It was the most beautiful place i have EVER been in my life! It is actual heaven!! I could have stayed there forever! We say baby stingrays and baby sharks right in the water by our feet. It was unbelievable! I cant describe how beautiful it was! We headed back to the boat at around 1 for lunch and headed off to another island to do some snorkelling. He had saved the best snorkelling place for Christmas day! It was so amazing! We were swimming right over the reef which was about half a meter away from us and then all of a sudden a massive drop meters deep! It was scary but amazing! I didnt want to get back on the boat! We went back to the place we had anchored the night before for Christmas dinner which was Chicken, stuffing, mash, peas and carrots!! 2nds, 3rds and 4ths again!!!!!! That night we all stayed up drinking and singing because our skipper played the guitar. It was SO nice! That night i slept SO badly! I tried to go up and sleep on the deck because i was too hot but then the boys were having a snoring compitition! Eventually got to sleep and woke up to breakfast at around 8am. Went for a last snorkel and then headed home. Our plan was to go back and go straight to sleep but then we remembered about the sales!!!!!! Christmas sales!!!!! So we did a bit of shopping, had a mc chicken sandwich and then went for a nap! We were so tired!

We are leaving today for Sydney which im not looking forward to because our first trip is 14 hours over night to Brisbane! Then we stay 2 hours in Brisbane and then to Lennox Head where we are stying for 1 night and then down to Sydney! I HATE bus journeys! But at least its not on my own! We get into Sydney on the 30th and are staying with sams friends over the NY because hostels are SO expensive! Then i need to find a job for 2 weeks before i go to Thailand on the 18th Jan. Im so excited to meet up with Jules and Mike! They are gonna LOVE the backpacker way!

Well im gonna have to head on because ive so much to sort out before we head off tonight.
