Woodleys walkabout
Day three of our long trek to Darwin and made it to a tiny town about 20km to the South of Longreach. Drought has hit Western Queensland really badly and today there were Emu's everywhere grazing on the side of the road trying to find the only feed available. Off to the one and only pub in town for a quick drink. Tomorrow will visit Qantas museum and Stockman's hall of fame

Cad Rob looks dry, I love the photo of your car outside your house. Drive safe and have fun.
Clive Now that looks like a better road to cycle on than the hills of Sydney! Drive safe.

Katrina I hope the kids get to see the emus when they get there! Saw an emu mum and chicks when in WA out in the wild and an amazing site to see them run!! Pauletta...I can understand your stressing about what gear to take and the space restrictions now I have seen campervan! Look forward to swapping stories when you get back..don't think our outback NSW tour is going to be quite as rugged as we are not camping, however will be very cold. Take care, Kat & Stu
