Hiya

We left fairly early on Monday morning to head to Christchurch (our friends came with us) and on the way we stopped at a gorgeous lake which was so blue it was amazing. The backdrop was Mount Cook and it was stunning. After we had lunch we stopped at Lake Pukaki where we saw the church of the good shepherd and the bronze sheepdog. Once we arrived in Christchurch, which was very quiet but a very nice place, the 6 of us went to an Irish bar for a few drinks and something to eat. Beth and Lynda left us that night so now there is only 4 of us left form our 15.

Yesterday we went to Kaikoura and arrived around lunch time. Kim and Andy went swimming with dolphins and Tom and Sue went Whale watching and saw huge sperm whales it was awesome we all had a really wicked afternoon. In the evening we all had a Bar B Q at the hostal which was nice and chilled out. Tom and Andy went for a few beers and Kim and Sue stayed in for a girlie night which was nice.

Today Andy and Sue left us this morning and we went and go the bus back to Christchurch. When we got back we chilled out for a bit then went to visit the Cathedral and went into the centre for a wonder around. Tonight we have chilled out with a takeaway and finished off some wine we had left. Off to Fiji tomorrow woohoo! Hopefully all will be okay as they have had lots of flooding over there so not sure what it’s going to be like!
