Hi Guys!

First off Tom would like to wish the old man a Happy Birthday! HAPPY BIRTHDAY DOMENICO! 21 again is it?!

We arrived into Sydney last Monday evening and checked into our dingy hostal, we are staying in Kings Cross. Mmm lets see, what can we say about Kings Cross... Well imagine lots of really nice restuarants and bars.... okay now sandwich them in between lots of tacky strip bars and lots of hobos (tramps) sat on the floor outside! Wierd place!

Anyway, beginning of the week we spent a couple of days sight seeing, we walked around and saw the park, the art gallery, sydney harbour bridge, the opera house and Circular Quay, which was really nice, we also walked through the botanic gardens which are really pretty. All pretty standard tourist stuff!

Thursday we got up early and took a tour to the Blue Mountains and saw the 3 sisters rock formations and took a ride on the worlds steepest railway. we also had a quick visit to the olympic park, site of the 2000 olympics. At the end of the day we caught a boat down the Parramatic river, we went down through Darling Harbour and under Sydney Bridge, which was a nice way to finish the day.

Friday we finished our site seeing and saw Darling Harbour and The Rocks. In the evening we went to Sydney Football Stadium to watch the Waratahs (Sydney's rugby union team) It wasn't a great game but a great atmosphere, Kim enjoyed it even if she struggled to follow the game! haha!

Saturday we had another early start, we were going on a wine tour! We went up to Hunter Valley and visited 4 wineries, a brewry and a smelly cheese food hall, what a day! It was really good and we even treated ourselves to a bit of brie! Lovely!

Yesterday was pretty lazy, we strolled around town and chilled out in Hyde Park, that was about as energetic as it got.

Today Marina was up in Sydney for a gift fair so we went and met her for lunch down by Sydney Harbour, which was nice. It's been really hot again today and really sticky. We have had dinner and are now going to get the over night bus to Coffs Harbour.
