We´ve finally made it!

After the 14 hour flight we are finally here in Rio :-) we had to put our clocks back four hours so when we arrived we had a full day ahead of us. We took a tour around Rio to see all the sites, Christ The Redeemer, Sugar Loaf Mountain and the Maracana Stadium (Brailian Football Ground) We also went to the museum where they keep the costumes for Rio Carnival which was good. The weather has been dissapointing today very dark and rainny :-( Managed to get a few pics of the statue from a distance when we were at sugar loaf mountain but you can only just make it out through the clouds.

So, we´ve had a really busy day and we are meeting our group later to go for something to eat and get to know everyone. We´ll let you know how it goes.
