Moving onto Koh Tao and another few days of relaxation on nice beaches! The highlight was meeting up with Kelly from our Africa trip who was coincidentally on the island as well.

We had hoped to do a PADI scuba diving course but Kims asthma proved problematic and doctors proved reluctant to sign her off due to the risk of her lungs rupturing (nice!) We opted to go snorkelling instead!

We stayed in a stunning beach hut on the rocks overlooking the sea for 5 quid a night and had drinks in a nice rasta bar which had a man twirling fire... we were quite scared as he dropped the stick on two occasions sending it flying dangerously close to people sitting nearby...Mark decided in the end he would prefer not to watch... relying on Kim to scream 'duck' if needs be....

Off to Bangkok next - a shock to the system after a couple of weeks of beaches and relaxation!
