Hello everyone!!

Well Me and kie are on Koh Phi Phi at the mo and it is gorgeous.Even nicer than Koh Samet and thats saying something.We arrived on thurs morning.As the boat got closer to the island the scenery was just amazing!! The high season has just started so we knew there wouldnt be much acommadation at a cheap price, so we went with our guide book and headed to another beach on the island called long beach were it would be quiter and the sea clearer.As we got off the second boat it was like a race along the sand to a resort at the end of the beach.It was so hot with our rather heavy bags to get there but we had to get a room.As we got there we were greated by a few men who took our bags and put them on a pully system.We didnt relize there was so many stairs up.( We have taken a pic for you to see) We continued up to the top, nearly passing out on the way.lol!! We got to reception to find out there was one room remaining.Wahoo!!

After two nights at that place we decided to move back to the main beach as there wasnt any ATMs/ nightlife or resturants there.If you wanted to get to the main bit you had to take a 30 min walk over the rocks to the main beach or pay 100 baht each way to get back by boat when the the tide was in.And this was getting a little costy.Plus we have both started a 3 day open sea diving course, today being our second day at it.We had to be there at 8am today and wouldnt of made it on time.

Yesterday we did a lot of theory was like being back at school! then around 4-5pm we went out to learn some skills in the shallow water.Like taking off your mask and breathing just through your mouth putting the mask back on.It took me a good 4 times to master that as i kept snorting up the water.And panicking! But in the end i managed it! Today we went on our first dives.It was amazing!! We saw so much, but proberly wouldnt be able to tell you all their names.He went to 12 metres today and tomorrow we will be doing our maximum deph 18 mtrs.Our instructor has taken some pictures so hopefully you will get to see some of what we did.When we got back we had to watch more videos then take our final written exam.And guess what!!?? We passed!! wahoo! Just need to do our dives tomorrow and we shall be Padi certified "open water divers" We cant wait!!
