hi all from the capital!!!!

well we arrived tday via a long journey on the bus...again. we got in late afternoon and booked in to stay 2 nights. was a nice journey in as it drove right along the harbour on the front. wellington is a very nice looking city and we caught it on a good day as there were dragon boat races on the water front. looked good. and also the sun was out.

we stayed in a place called base backpackers which was the loudest one we could have gone in. it has a bar/club in the basement. was funny as in the middle of the night the fire alarm went and everyone in the bar and hostel room had to go outside. was a mixture of drunk people and peoplr in the re p.j's!!! was good.

well we setlled in for the night and talked to the haiwain guy in our room as he was quite cool. the next day we went to the museum of wellingotn which was a really nice museum and quite famous, load sof dead stuffed things in there and some other stuff. then the rest of the day we walked around and took in the sights. but other then that we didnt do much as we had to ge tup early again to go to the south island. so very soon we will up date that part of our journey, stay tuned.....
