hi all again, its me kieran!!!!!

well we left wellington and had to take a ferry across the cook straight for 3 hours to get to the south island!! ferry crossing was brilliant and we actually had dolphins jumping out of the water as we travelled along, was cool. the ferry was pretty bhig and seemed to make the journey really quick.

so after we got off the ferry we got on the bus(more travelling) and went down to sunny nelson. well it wasnt sunny but looked nice place. the hostel we stayed at was brilliabnt, had a sauna swimming pool and spa. we used 2 of the 3. the water in the pool though was really cold but didnt stop us going in. we didnt really see much of nelson as it was for only 1 night. but what we saw seemed ok. oh yeah they had free soup for tea so that was cool. oh and also a really cool seating area that you had to use a ladder to get up to. and also they had real cheap thai fod there, so we obliged and had some!!!

so after nelson we travelled down to greymouth(it is as boring as it sounds) to spend antoher night. this place actually eneded up ok as we went on a brewary tour with half of the bus that traveled down. it was monthithes brewery, they showwed us around and then we got to sample some beers(thats the real reason we all came). we tried them all and then they gave us 20 mins to have as much as we could, so we did. after that the took us down to a pub where we had an all you can eat bbq. hannah managed to fit a lot of sausages in somewhere, dont know where they went and i also indulged in a fair few. after that we played some pool with the other bus travellers and drank a few more monthithes beers. we then all managed to stumble back to the hostel to get a few hours sleep before we had to trvale agian. so although we only stopped in for 1 day in these places it was probably enough.......so again back on the bus and now trvale down to frans josef...COME ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
