well hello everyone. sorry aboare quite behind. well frans josef is the best looking place i haev seen on our travles. it is a small village/town which resembles a ski resort and behind the toen is an amaing view of a glacier covered in snow!!!! apprantly there ws a huge ownfall of snow in the mountains 2 days ago. is relly is an amazing view.

the hostel we are staying in is brilliant. we walked in and there is a nice open fire to warm us(it is pretty cold down here). yesterday we went on a kayaking trip across a lake and the views from there were amazing. again it was of the glacier but we could see more this time. the lake itself was really calm and was just like a mirror. what a    place. there were around 10 of us on the trip including one poor girl who couldnt steer the boat to save her life :-) was funny that everytime i looked up she was in a bush hahaha. at one point she was hanging off a branch nearly in the water.  but iot really was good and was actually quite tiring. today we went for a walk up to the bottom of the glacier. it was a bout a 4km walk there and back and was realluy nice. again a bit fresh though. but it was gorgoes to look at once we got there and have loads of nice pics when we fianly up load them. the hostel we are in is full of the same people as last time and thats pretty cool. they are mostly irish but that not there problem :-).

tomorrow we travel down to queenstown and there we  will spend st patricks day so that again should be really good. so untill next update take its easy xx
