Our dear families & friends, back in cold damp UK!!!!

G'day! Well I (Kelly) am sat here updating in Nossa Heads, sweltering from the heat, sheltering from the sun!!! Sorry! Suppose you want an update eh! Well where do I start? Think I last updated in Airlie beach some days ago?! Loved Airlie beach, had a great time! Stayed in a backpacker hostel (well had to try it didn't we?), first 2 nights were fab, could not fault hostel. Then.... last night no sleep whatsoever!! these noisy youngsters! Up all night!!!!!!! Oh, by the way the other 2 nights when we slept soundly we were trolleyed (drunk mum!). Visited the Whitsundays.... superb..... whitehaven beach is soooooo pretty, the sand is whiter than white ( colgate would be proud!). Some great piccies taken here. Other islands visited were pretty too though beaches not a patch on Whitehaven! We left Airlie on Thursday and headed South, not a lot between Airlie & Hervey bay (our next stop) and the distance is huge between these two places, so had to stop at a town called Rockhampton (Shockhampton, as I named it). Absolutely nout there so won't bore you. Arrived in Hervey bay Friday... booked into our apartment after a run in with an Aussie tourist info. woman! obviously having a bad day. Owners were british, that was nice and so too was the apartment. Saturday we went on a fantastic trip over to Fraser Island (Island completely made of sand) ... sights unbelievable. Went up in a light aircraft over island and saw the 75 mile beach from the air!!!! WOW!!!!! The 4WD driver/guide called Mel was hilarious & really mad our day... typical Aussie bloke.. joke after joke!!!! On the island we visited McKenzie lake, beautiful! Sand the the same as Whitehaven and water fresh rainwater! Lovely to swim in...... I have just looked out of window & a huge bird ? a cockeril type, walked casualy past! The things we see! Anyway.... yesterday we went on, my favourite, Whale watching off Fraser Island.. saw loads of Mommy whales & their bambino's.... names for these are pods. Saw so many... wonderful to watch. The only downfall is that myself & Rob forgot to slip slop slap and burnt our faces...... we had our sungalsses on so now look like a pair of panders!!! No joke.... I look like Bridget Jones in BJ 2!!!!!!! A bit embarrassed as arrived in Noosa looking like this & it is a very affluent resort!!!!! Said to Rob we would just say that we burnt whilst on our 50 ft yacht! Plan to leave here tomo & head for the famous Australian (Steve erwin) Zoo... then onto Brisbane for a day.

So as you can see we are still having a fab time, so much to see & do. We have 11 days now to get to Sydney... plent of time! Can't believe we have been here only 3 weeks seems like ages more! Will upload some piccies in next few days as it is so time consuming.... better things to do & all that!!!

Well am going now, We do miss you all loads & think of you daily (well not all of you!). We hope you are all OK? & those babies in their mummies tummies are OK? Thanks for all those messages... keep thm coming as they do brighten up our days... as well as the hot sunshine here!!!!!

Oh.... watched Rob's skydive DVD yesterday.... oh my god I **** myself never mind him! It is a must see!!!!!!
