Well, last entry was from that Dish hole Phuket, which I planned to leave the next day. Unfortunately, at about 10.30 that night, after only a beer and some food, I got violently sick on the street! I thought I was going to be arrested for D&D- but went straight back to the hotel not feeling good at all. Without graphic detail, the night was far from pleasant. So, my last entry was from Koh Tao, and I had done 1 day of diving but only in the pool. The next day we were in at the deep end, out in the ocean. To pass the course enabling you to dive all over the world, you have to complete a series of drills, so on each dive we spent about half the time doing "work" the other half seeing fish. I havent written for a week now, because of 2 reasons. The first, is that I am now travelling through the Thai Islands, which breeds inherent laziness into anyone who comes here. The second, is that I genuinely miss the adventure of south east asia that I had in Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia. Well, after a rather long drive from Saigon to Phnom Penh, which was by far the nicest bus journey I've had, we arrived in the early evening, had a short explore of the town before dinner, then drinks, then bed.
