The bus trip from Uyuni to Potosi was really bumpy. Fortunately it only took about 5 hours :-/ Even though the bus was pretty old and dirty, it was better than what we were expecting. We arrived back in Uyuni from our salt flats tour at around 3pm on Wednesday 21 March. It turned out our whole car group wanted to get to Sucre in a hurry, so we immediately walked to the only airline office in the town (TAM - a military airline) to enquire. The bus journey from Santiago to San Pedro was long and horrible. The bus barely stopped, we were only given a few snacks and the toilet was disgusting to the point of being unusable.
