Long day driving down to Provence. We did some shopping in Reims before setting off at 11 am, two hours later than planned. It was a beautiful sunny day.
Unfortunately Joan's phone doesn't work in France and it was the only phone we had. We tried to phone the caretaker for the house from a service station but it didn't have a phone. Eventually we found a phone and Joan did her least favourite thing...having a phone conversation in a different language!
Found Bargemon and our house easily. It was dark by the time we settled in. Dinner was a goat's cheese and vegetable pie with parmentier potatoes.
