Korean Air Flight 74, with us onboard, took off on schedule for our 13-hour flight up and over the North Pole to Incheon, South Korea. We were in seats 7H & 7J in Prestige Class, which is the Korean Air version of Business Class. The seats are great, with tons of legroom, and once we mastered the automated seat adjustment buttons, we could have the seats in almost any configuration that you wanted, from upright to almost totally flat. That made it much easier to sleep the flight away. I was able to sleep about 7 hours and Christine got in about 5.
The meals were quite good (at least for airline food). We both had the Bibimbap for dinner, and the omelet with ham and hash brown for breakfast (with mushroom gravy that tasted just like Christine's Dad's!). I really enjoyed the Guava juice that the wonderful flight attendants kept bringing around, while Christine stuck with the Orange. Christine got a little hungry near the end of the flight and the flight attendant brought out some nice warm cookies. There was a chocolate chip, a white chocolate chip/macadamia nut and a peanut butter one. Christine enjoyed the PB one the best.
Once we arrived at the Incheon Airport, we found the Korean Air Prestige lounge was already open so we got ourselves settled in there and both showered before the breakfast made it's way out. We both tried the Korean rice porridge which was not bad in small doses. There were also some fried ham, roasted potatoes, and a small salad bar. Christine was VERY happy to be able to have some green vegetables. This was definitely another of the wonderful perks of flying Prestige Class!
It's about 7am local time as I write this, and we are leaving for Tokyo at 9:20.

Mom Was the Bibimbap spicy? What was in the other dishes?
