Qantas QF51 A330 200 departed Brisbane on time at 10:15 am. Soon after 2:30 we crossed the coast at Karumba where Dean and Kim happened to be on a fishing / camping trip. We wondered if they had seen us fly over.

We had fairly good views as we passed right over Kakadu National Park and Darwin, but couldn't see East Timor for cloud.

We landed in Singapore on time at 6: 15pm after spending 15 minutes in a holding pattern. It was quick and easy passing through customs, collecting our baggage and finding a taxi to take us to our hotel, Novotel Clarke Quay.

We had walk along the river, found somewhere to eat and walked back along the other side of the river absorbing the colourful atmosphere.
