Today got underway with a 35 min run with Patrick from apartment to Bondi beach and back! Wow!!! It was not too hot but the hill back up to apartment was a boll**ks!!! Totally took it out of me!
We got back to apartment - I got showered before activity number 2 of the day! Carol and I went on a 1.5 hour walk from Coogee beach to Bondi beach along the coast with our friend Emma, passing 7 beaches and up and down more steps!!
It Was a really nice walk and was great to catch up with Emma!
We got back to apartment and headed to Watson's bay for some lunch! Watson's bay a real cool area with a little boat harbour, cool restaurants and a ferry point. Carol, Patrick and I hopped onto the ferry for a trip across Sydney harbour to circular quay for class views of the harbour, bridge and opera house! I would definitely recommend this to anyone over an official harbour tour!
The 3 of us jumped on bus back to Bondi - Carol jumped ship at shopping center near the apartment. It seems she wasn't Roo interested in watching Ausralia v New Zealand warm up match with Patrick and I!
We all got ready during the game and were picked up for our Darling harbour dinner by Carols friend Emma, about a 20 min drive through Sydney.
We ate in Indian BBQ restaurant, Zaffron - absolutely delicious!
We got a class balcony table overlooking harbour and were greeted ti biweekly fire work show! Stunning stuff altogether and a great ringside seat!
Emma went home after dinner as she had a match tomorrow, against Patricks ladies team! There was no sign of Patrick going home though!! The joys of being a manager!!
Lou, Patrick, Carol and I went to PJs Irish bar for drinks and to watch Ireland v Scotland in Rugby! Lou and Patrick were at each other all day..no better way to test relationship!!
Ireland ended up being beaten by 10-6 in an absolutely shocking episode but Ireland had a poor team out. However Lou wasted no time in telling us Scotland had school boys out!!
Got home to bed about 2am after lots of beer and rum!! (not together...!)
