Today has been a really lazy day, Alicia and I spent the whole day on what appears to be our own private beach. There was not one person in sight until Phil, Ben and Nick (guys we met in Pai) who are also on the island came over to see us at lunchtime. Our resort has a pool which overlooks the sea, a beach bar and restaurant so we really didn't need to move at all. The sea is so warm so we all went for a dip in the sea before time in the pool. This was literally our whole day. The guys stayed for a few hours before heading back to their place. Alicia and I watched the beautiful sunset before heading off to our room for a shower and to wait for Cynthia to arrive.

Cynthia was travelling from Cambodia so was doing pretty much the same long trip as I did yesterday, she eventually arrived at about 8pm. It was so good to see her, she really makes me laugh. The resort staff wanted to take her up to her room but cynthia had other ideas. Dumping her backpack in the middle of reception, her priority before doing anything was a bottle of 'Chang' at the bar. Once she eventually threw her back literally in her room we headed to 'lonely beach', this is the lively part of the island. We've chosen to stay just outside of this area so that we can choose whether we want the loud music or just chill. We stayed out for a couple of hours but as Alicia is still unwell and Cynthia had only just arrived we had an early night. With the plan tomorrow night that we will go to the beach party on lonely beach.
