I personally thought Kings Canyon was more impressive than Ayers Rock, infact so did most of the people with me. After camping the night here I was up early to explore the canyon more.... To get within the canyon you had to face heart attack hill first, this is a very steep hill that you have to climb up & has many steps. Luckily I didn't become one of the unfortunates who have suffered a heart attack in the past climbing up!! Once at the top I spent approx 3.5hrs walking around, there are some cool water holes within the canyon which you can swim in but was far to cold for me. After the wal round it was yet another long drive to Alice Springs where I was to spend 1nt before making my way up to Darwin, finally was getting closer to the sun again yey..
