Four fights,three days and twenty five hours we finally arrived in Perth Austrailia. We managed to ease. into it a bit stopping in Long Beach California and then again in Sydney before heading to Perth we still experienced jet lag.
I know Boo Hoo, it's one of the things that makes you appriate the whole experience of being here. That and trying to drive on the wrong side of the road, using funny plastic money and just understanding what people are saying in general.
We are finding that Perth is expensive, apparently there are loads of mines around and people are flush with the windfalls of them. We see red mud covered 4x4's and men with hard hats covered in the same even here at our hotel. ANd speaking of hotels this is our last one for a while.
You see we have lost our minds as tomorrow we will trade in our sporty Audi for a 24 foot motorhome.
Even better we will drive said motorhome from Perth back to Sydney through the Outback. Yes Keith and Joy are going on "Walkabout". In the coming weeks we will struggle driving on the wrong side of the road,
We'll shower in a shower the size of a phone booth, cook our own meals on a camp stove and maybe even have a great time. Stay tuned as this maybe our biggest adventure yet.
