Hi everbody, No we haven't seen a koala bear but we couldn't find anything else that was suitable. We have spent the weekend in Port Douglas, where the rain forest is. We were going to go to Cape Tribulation but the road was closed due to flooding so we couldn't get further than Daintree. The rain forest lived up to its name, it was wet, wet, wet but really interesting. Had to buy a nice plastic poncho and we couldn't take photographs as the rain was too heavy. We then went to Mossman Gorge which is another part of the rain forest. Keith had a swim and then we went for a walk. Convinced we had got lost and would never be found again. It was scary in the forest with all the noises from high in the treetops, we know how the celebrities feel. I wouldn't like to be in overnight with goodness knows what creeping all over you. Unfortunately we didn't see any wildlife or birds don't know if we were pleased or not. As we were driving along there were signs for kangaroos but we didn't see any of them either!!! We are travelling down south tomorrow morning heading for Fraser island but that will take 3 or 4 days. Will try and update the photographs when we get a chance.
