Our holiday has now ended and we are back home in Cramlington and back to work again. We have had a wonderful holiday, a once in a lifetime experience travelling around Australia.We would like to thank everyone who left us messages, even the cheeky ones from Keith's colleagues.  We are ovewhelmed at the number of people who logged on to the website to view our photographs etc. 

We have been doing a little bit of sightseeing in Hawaii.  We did a tour to Pearl Harbour on Monday which was very informative.  After watching an archive film about the bombing of Pearl Harbour we were taken by boat to the USS Arizona Memorial.  On our return to Waikki the tour guide brought us to Chinatown where Hawaii Five-0 was filmed.  After promising ourselves we wouldn't do any more walking/climbing we found ourselves heading towards the ...

Aloha from Waikiki Beach in Honolulu.? We arrived this morning, Friday again, after an overnight flight from Sydney and are confused as to what day and time?it is.? Our hotel room overlooks the beach so we have a nice view of the Pacific Ocean and can watch the surfers catching the waves.? It is lovely and warm so we hope to chill out for a few days before making our return journey home.

We have spent our last two day in Australia in The Blue Mountains and we are so glad that we did.  The scenery is stunning, the weather has been lovely so much cooler than Darwin but still not cold.  We are now driving down to Sydney Airport to catch our flight tonight to Honolulu which arrives this morning (local time).  We will now be ten hours behind the UK instead of in front.  We will update the website when we arrive in Honolulu.

We are now on the last leg of our Australian adventure having travelled overnight from Darwin to Sydney. We have hired a car and intend to spend the last 3 days in the Blue Mountains just outside of Sydney before we fly off to Honolulu on friday night.
