J: We got to Luang Prabang at 4am instead of the 8am we expected. We knew where we were heading and thankfully they let us in without charging. Although we did stay in the bar until 6am watching the world cup.

S: We met up with other travellers and headed to Tad Kuang Si waterfalls, which were tiered and extremely beautiful. You could swim in them and there were lots of friendly fish biting you if you kept still for more than two seconds.

J: When in the last town we got recommended a buffet restaurant on the river from another traveler (cheers Tash). We went with everyone from the day and it was an all you can eat, and you cooked the raw meat on a BBQ hot plate on the table which was epic. All kinds of meats, fish and veg were available. We stayed there all night and got our money's worth!

S: We visited Vat Xieng Thong temple. It was beautiful and watching monks hoover was a little strange lol. We then climbed Mount Phousi to admire the views and visit That Chomsi, a cave with Buddhas footprint.
