Get Jealous
It really is true what they say.... French Women don't get fat. Well the ones we saw weren't. The only fat females we saw had very loud American, English or Australian accents (now that we are the fattest nation, what would you expect). Must be something in the Parisian Water...... or perhaps they're not greedy pig faces and have a bit of self control.
We had 6 nights all up in Paris, one night we treated ourselves to to the Kitch Spectacular that is Moulin Rouge. We felt VERY under-dressed as we sat down for a silver service dinner in jeans and saw most of the people around us were just a little more dressed up. (If only my Karen Millen Cocktail dress could be squished into a ball in the bottom of a backpack!). Only seeing the awful cheap dress the lounge singer was wearing made me feel a little better. During desert, the room goes dark, music starts, curtains go up to reveal girls in big skirts and beaded and feathered headed dress'..... but hang on something is missing........ oh yes they're topless. Suddenly I don't feel so under-dressed. That was pretty much the theme of the evening. Sadly the men didn't even show a bit of chest. There were also giant fish tanks filled with snakes and tiny tiny ponies. Defiantly Kitch, defiantly a one off, but defiantly worth going.
So what did we do in Paris apart from see skinny girls and half naked girls? Lots. Here's the brief version:
Eiffel Tower: Much cooler in real life than in pictures. Bit jealous of the guy who designed it and got to live at the top. Although it's nice to see an engineer get credit for his work for a change rather than an architect. Way to go Mr Eiffel.
The Arc de Triomphe: Much bigger than I expected
The Mona Lisa: Much smaller than I expected
The shopping: Fantastic
The wine: Delicious (even the 2euro bottle was pretty good)
The weather: s***
The coffee: Same as the weather
Nontre Dame Cathedral: Quasi wasn't home but it was was worth the line up anyway. Although, he could have been hidden amongst the 100's of people attending mass at the time. Yes, they actually let tourist in when a service is happening. Bit wrong I thought - but there you go.
The Catacombs: Creepy, and not worth the hour line up in the freezing cold. You see one pile of bones and you've seen them all.
The Sewers: Bit smelly, and a little too aimed at school groups to really excite me. Although it was still pretty cool
Disney Land: Again freezing cold, but worth it all for the new Twilight Zone ride.
Champse Elysees: Crowded, but worth it to see the Louis Vutton store complete with line and own crowd control.
Montmartre: My favourite spot
Obviously there was a little more to our stay than that, but you do a lot in 7 days and I'm not sure anyone really wants to read that much!!
So, we liked Paris. I won't say loved but I think it's because these weary travellers need a break.
So from here it's the Last Stop: Scotland.

Gustavo True, but I'm not a big fan of the relative tritrroey changes, sometimes it's hard to tell the actual measure and how big it is. Probably because i'm bad at estimating 2D sized and sometimes i don't have a clue of the original tritrroey size I find many eyes is interesting for visualizations as well. For example
