Best day ever! Woke up early to do this dolphin tour, the guides were very insistent that we may not see dolphins and that they hadn't seen any in the last few days but as soon as we get out there a huge pod of around 200 dolphins where swimming and jumping round the boat! So we jumped straight in, the water was freezing even when wearing 2 wetsuits! And we played around with the dolphins for about an hour! We were told to spin round in circles and make noises through our snorkels to attract the dolphins which it did! They come over to you and swim round and round in circles before jumping up and showing off their tricks it was so cool to see them do stuff like that in their natural environment! We weren't allowed to touch them but that didn't mean they wouldn't touch you! When we couldn't handle the cold any more we got out and were given hot chocolate to warm is back up, we drive to the next spot and on our way we see a huge sperm whale splashing it's tail at us! It was quite far in the distance so I couldn't get a picture but you could tell how huge it was by the size of the splash it's tail made! Just when we thought the trip couldn't get any better we spot a whole family of orcas! 2 huge males 3 females and 2 babies! We follow them around for ages until we eventually have to head back! We were so overwhelmed by the trip we didn't even think about the 7 hour drive I now had to do!
