So we are up bright an early for our highlight of the trip: ice explorer! A helicopter ride to the to of a mountain and a 2 hour glacier ice hike! We get there and are told the 1st trip had been cancelled due to bad weather and to come back in 2 hours, bit annoying but we occupied ourselves by driving outside a pub to steal wifi we did this so often in the time we were here the guys started turning it off as we pulled up and laughing at us! 2 hours later we are told the trip has been cancelled for the day and to come back tomorrow, there is absolutely nothing to do in Franz Josef whatsoever! But we decide to stay another night! The next day the same thing happens, cancelled told to come back at 11 then 1 then 3 which is also cancelled so we give up after wasting 2 whole days here and not even getting to do the trip we were most looking forward to!
