We left Buffalo for our flight and we had to stop off in Chicago so the first flight was just to Chicago we boarded the plane and it was so small it felt like we were on a toy ride! It had one row of single seats and one row of 2 seats so it had about 30 people on all together. As we were on the toy plane i swore i thouht i saw our rucksacks being taken off the plane so i nudged Jono and told him and he told me not to be silly they wouldnt take our bags off so i stopped worrying and got back to my book (the james Patterson on which was quite good thanks kate!) Got to Chicago and went back another hour for the time difference which was really confusing trying to catch out connecting flight but we made it on time, this flight was a normal plane and when we arrived in vegas we went back another 2 hours so a total of 8 hours behind UK time (all this travelling is great for your body clock, dont know what day or time is but its great). So we arrive in Vegas airport and as soon as we get off on the plane we see the slot machines on the way to baggage claim....only in vegas! So we get to the baggage claim and no sign of our bags start to get worried now so we go to the desk, they tell us that they would be on the next flight from Buffallo hopefully in a few hours from Buffalo so i was right i knew i saw our bags being taken off! Was a bit worried that i would never see all our stuff again but nothing we could do so we get on the shuttle and head to our hotel Circus Circus! We arrive in the hotel and think oh yes this is lovely really posh but i knew we booked the cheap rooms in the back so out we went to the Trailer Park(no joke) and find all the trailer trash outback with us and we find our room....its actually really nice just not in the main bit of the hotel but is only costing us about a tenner a night so its ok, it has a huge tv and 2 queen beds in and a bathroom so its lovely! We didnt do alot the first night cos were waiting for a phone call saying they have found our beloved bags....the call comes at 3.30am!!!!!! nevermind we got ur bags and all is well. Next day we go exploring the hotels we go to Sahara and the Stratosphere which have crazy rides in them but are quite expensive so we give them a miss (thats my excuse anyway they are mental looking), we go up to the Ventian and Ceasars Palace where there is a white tiger next to the main lobby area its amazing that its there but is actually quite cruel cos its in a really small area, then we go find the Pussycat dolls lounge area which is where they started out which i was impressed with and the Venetian was lovely as it has all clear blue water outside and gondalo rides hope to go on one later, went to Treasure island which has a hige boat and pirates outside which is good then it got a bit late so saving all the rest of the famous ones til tomorrow. That night we had a little gamble in our casino and Jono gave me a dollar from some change and we found this big wheel thing that you bet if it lands on a $1, $2, $5, $10, $20, and $40 its a dollar to bet so we have a few goes and before you know it i have won $41 dollars so started off with 50p and won over twenty quid not bad i walked away before i spent it all and got myself a nice chicken fajita pizza with my winnings and gonna go on it again tonight see if i can win again, want to have a go on roulette but its really expensive even to play before you have even bet. Boked a Grand Canyon Tour on the day we leave picking us up at 5.40am eek!!! and we are flying there over Hoover Dam, Colarado River etc then getting a helicopter ride to the canyon floor where we have champagne!!! was quite expensive but we left it to late but i shall update you about it another time. We found a place in vegas that its $5 unlimited access all day so took about 3-4 hours to write all this and upload all the pics but was worth it i think to get it all done. Off to san Francisco soon and then LA and San Diego cant believe how much i have seen in just a week! speak soon xxx

That night we walked along the stip and saw all the big hotels and casinos, we went into Excalibur, Mirage, Paris, MGM Grande, Luxor, New York New York and Hooters! We went into the Coyote Ugle Bar and stayed for a few drinks as it was happy hour but we didnt see any dancing on the bars Jono kept daring me to ask for water - hell no H2O but i didnt have the guts incase they dragged me up on the bar and i was sober so it wasnt going to happen! Then we went along to Hooters for dinner a famous place in vegas all the girls wear hooter outfits which are a pair of you have been tangoed orange shorts white leg warmers and a white top was really busy and the food wasnt amazing but at least we went there.

Day 2

So we woke up at 5.00am - yes i said 5.00am to go and get picked up for our grand canyon adventure, we got picked up from the hotela nd got taken to an air strip in Boulder City, we then met our captain for the day....Chad!!!! so american i love it!!! Jono and i got the 2 front seats of the helicopter which was well good as we had a great view and there were 3 other women in the back. We were going about 150mph but it felt really slow but i can tell you i like being trabsported by helicopter was good! we flew over Hoover Dam and Lake mead and saw the Colarado river snaking its way through the Canon were in the ait for about half hour then we landed on the Canyon floor where we had a champagne picnic breakfast(about 7am but still drunk it!!!) Took some pics but we wernt there for long then we flew back past the national park to the right and the Indian reservation to the left was really good amazing experience.
