Lake Titikaka was beauuutiful...we stayed with a peruvian family on one of the islands for the night. Mine and Sul´s nuevo madre was called ewlalia, she took us back to her house (pretty much a courtyard!) and showed us to our room. It was more like a barn, there was no carpet, no plastered walls, and the beds were made out of reeds!! Just got back from the jungle!! Been mixing it up with the creepy crawlies for the last 2 nights! So the inca trail didn´t quite go according to plan...I got a stomach bug the day before and made it only as far as the first resting point! GUTTED.
