Dubrovnik Arrived in Dubrovnik after a very early start. Had to get up at 3.15. We are in a very flash hotel which made up for it. Having a couple quiet days which are much needed before our tour starts. The old city of Dubrovnik is a walled city. We walked around the top of the walls. Scenery was terrific No one could of got inside the walls from the outside. Views from all around of enemies coming. The walls are about 1 metre thick. Unfotunately it was bombed...

London On to London for one night before we fly to Dubrovnik in Croatia. When we got into the city there was a protest in Trafalgar Square which caused major traffic jams. Took ages to get to our motel. Got great shots of Londons Bobbys though. Apparently one bobby and some protesters got hurt. Glad we dont live in big cities.

Amsterdam Amsterdam. Cycle city. Bikes everywere. Not as many windmills to be seen as I thought there would be. Lots of canals. Alot like Venice. Had a walk around the red light area. Saw the ladies displaying themselves in the windows. The streets are quite dirty here. Boppard After leaving Lucerne we drove onto Boppard. The last hour was on a boat cruising down the Rhine. Lovely views of castles everywhere and little villages. It was another lovely hot day. Wining on the top deck of the boat. Watching everyday life go by. What a struggle but hey someones got to do it.

Lucerne Switzerland is living up to expectations. Hills everywhere with little chalets doted all over. Cows everywhere with cow bells on. Expect Heidi to come around the corner any minute. We are staying in Lucerne which is a lovely town. A row of watch towers lined up and little wooden bridges to walk over. Very scenic. My trigger finger has been going into overload again.
