Hello,

I have been so rubbishimo at updating this thing! But honestly there isnt enough hours in the day while farming!!

So since my last blog which i cant actually remember what i said i have been quite lucky!

The familys son Will was staying here and he asked me to drive him down to Tauranga as he was still hungover from the wedding he went to the night before. In exchange for the driev he offered to pay for me to get the Overlander train from Auckland back to Welly. Thsi train ride is quite famous as its beautiful....so it was an early start but i got on the train ok and saw some amazing views.

After i got back it was back to work on the farm. The weather was so good and i enjoyed getting a nice tan working outside...it was blinking hot though!!

The farm has now offered me a full time job so i will be working here full time from now on and getting paid! So im no longer working for food and stay. This is great cos i will be able to save save save!!

I had my first proper day off yesterday and i went into Masterton which is an hour away and i did a bit of shopping and went to the cinema! I felt such a lonener!! But it was a really good day...its nice getting out and about sometimes.

I have learnt allot since being here. Simple things like riding the quad bike,helping on the ropes course,gardening etc...

Im now learning how to draft and drench lambs! It sounds easy but trust me..its back breaking work...and the lambs are not very helpful when the jump up and bash you in the face etc...my legs were so brusied after i done the 1000 of them! Oh drenching is putting wormer in their mouths and drafting is getting the right ones in different yards!! Very confusing and boring farm stuff....haha!!

Ermm trying to think of what else.

Im still trekking and loving it..riding the horses most days is good fun and i get to meet some interesting people too!!

Emma who works here has been a great help too. Shes a good friend who listens to me moan all the time. Us "Townys" cant handle such things i tell ya.....

Mmm thats about it really....Im missing everyone back at home of course and wish they would just leave that hell hole and come live here!! haha!!
