DAY 1
Things I encountered for the first time, well to start off I have never traveled to the East Coast so everything is new to me! I also flew alone wihtout my parents for the first time. The day was a blur as of getting up at 5 AM and ready to get on the bus at 6 but unfortunately the bus very late. Half an hour later TaDa the bus had arrived a kiss and a hug with a few tears from my mom and I later we were on the bus trying to get out as fast as possible. Since the bus was late that did not look so good for us as we needed to be in Dallas no later than 3 PM that day. The bus ride was long but at least I sat next to my loving friend who I convinced to come on the trip with me, Melanie Peterson! Another first time, we rode the little trolly type train in Dallas from the Bus Station to Dallas Fort Worth Airport. Things got bumpy as we did not think getting on the train through and the doors shut leaving three of ours stranded as the train took off. A quick phone call to the others and an explanation of what they were going to do calmed all of us down and turned into laughter of the reactions on their faces as the doors shut on them. Once we got to the Airport we had to wait ten minutes for the others to get off the train they took after ours, then off we went. Checking in and going through security was fast but the amount of time we had was a little scary as it was running short. Once we got to our gate our heartbeats slowed back to normal and we got lunch, then it was time to board the plane! A breif layover and a quick bite we boarded the next plane to Boston our final desination of the stress filled day. Our plane landed and all of us got off quickly to retrive our luggage and get on the bus to get to our hotel as all of us were ready to sleep!
