I am in Dubai airport waiting for my plane to singapore. I have had a good 2 days in Duabi, there is a tour bus so I got a ticket for that and visited most of the sites yesterday then went to the beach today. Long stretch on white sand with very clear water and not very busy so loads of room. Was lovely but I could only stand the heat for an hour (the sea was hot too so it didnt really cool you down), but it took a long time to get back to the hotel anyway so it worked out well. It is strange going from the poorest country I have ever been to the richest. I cant believe how rich it is here! If an Emriate man marries an emirate woman the goverment give him a huge house and a load of money for free! Would be brilliant place to visit if you are rich. Saw the world islands, and palm islands (man made of the coast), and the worlds tallest hotel, which is 7 stars, and the hotel that was in the James bond movie. Had a boat tour on the river and visted a few museums. Unlike the day I had here on the way here, when I felt self consious of being the only woman, I didnt notice as much as I am now used to being the minority. (though I was right - only 17% of the people living in Dubai are female!)

Had a good time but looking forward to Singapore. Lots of Love XXXX
