For the past couple of weeks we've been touring the Land of Kings - Rajasthan. So we didn't get too much of a case of temple and fort overload or suffocated by the fumes of the mega cities, we decided to go off the main tourist trail and visit some 'smaller' cities in the south of the province. Ah, the Taj Mahal... The most extravagant monument ever built in the name of love. We managed to bag a cheapie hotel bang next to the East Gate thinking that we would be straight in after breakfast. What we didn't realise was that they've recently decided to move the ticket office 1km up the road away from the gate. And so the trip begins. And with that, our blog begins. If we're being truthful, we shed a few tears as we waved goodbye to the English coastline en route to our first destination of India (stopping off for a few hours in Helsinki so we can include 'Europe' in our list of continents we're checking off).
