Have spent 4 days in Darwin & Kakadau National Park and have loved every minute of it. The atmosphere of the city is great (fab night life!) and its nice to be a little bit off the beaten track of backpackers that were on the east coast. Kakadau is a national park so lots of amazing places to see but also learnt a lot about the Aboriginal culture. Nice food and drinks to be had in Darwin!

Have spent 4 days travelling 2700km through the Outback (yes its actually a real place!) and got into the mood of things by watching Crocodile Dundee on the bus. Spent most of the 4 days driving and didnt really stop that much - just to eat, sleep and go to the loo! We did go to a lake, and then stopped at the oldest pub in the Northern Territory which was a manic palce called Daly Waters.
