Have spent the last few days in Cairns and have been learning to dive. Good news is that i passed, although feeling a huge hole in my pocket after how much it costs. But it was the experience of a lifetime and am now a PADI certified open water diver (for those of you who know what that means!) so have dived the Great Barrier Reef. Have spent a few days travelling up to Cairns and stopped at a number a of places on teh way.......caught a ferry over to Magnetic Island and spent an afternoon and night just chilling out, then we went back to the mainland to Mission Beach where i tried kangaroo! And then final leg of the trip has taken me to a beautifel waterfall called Milla Milla falls, holding a crocodile, a snake and then to do a Minjin Swing which is where you lay flat and are then hoisted...

Spent yesterday and today sailing around the Whitsundays. The weather has been sunny for a change although so windy you couldnt sit up on deck most of the time. The beaches are amazing here and Whitehaven is in the top 10 cleanest beaches in the world. The water was so amazingly clear and the sand so white.....another incredible beach to add to my list. Now im just being spoilt!!

Travelled here to Airlie Beach from Kroombit for another overnight stay in party town before leaving today to sail around the Whitsundays for 3 days. All aboard the Pride of Airlie and sailing to a resort on the island. Great time to have a couple of early nights and not drinking alcohol.

Travelled to Kroombit in the middle of nowhere and have learnt to be a cowgirl! Even got offered a job. Never been on horseback and finally got over my fear of it - spent to hours rounding up goats on the farm and then learnt to lassoo, brand and milk the goats. We then took to drinking and eating around the fire and being little miss competitive that i am, i won the bucking bronco competition!
