We are now in laos. we flew in which made things so much easier. it has a lot nicer feel to it. no people surtrounding you as you get off transport. we spent 2 nights in the capitol vientiane. it was so small with not much to do. alex has got better now thankfully. we travelled to vang vieng by bus 4-5 hours north. another small little vilage where the tubing is the main attraction as well as other tours. the scenery is also amazing, the river is surrounded by big mountains which is really cool, compared to very flat cambodia. i didnt fancy a day mountain biking in the rediculous heat that weve got here. all the cafes have tvs that constantly playing family guy or friends so you can sit for quite a while when eating. all the food is hot, even the sandwiches which gets annoying when its soo hot outside. booked a bus to luang prabong tomorrow which is meant to be even more scenic and theres a waterfall alex wants to go to to take pics. its another 7 hours north so lets hope the bus is comfortable.
