So Hervey Bay!

We got to Hervey Bay about 5pm (a long bus trip) and we were in a dorm with Lynn. We got out and about and grabbed a nice dinner (rather posh for us - a lovely lasagne!). We were so tired, so straight to bed.

Next day - a lie in at last! Then got to the local shopping centre for a bit of retail therapy. We did some washing in the afternoon (the delights of travelling!) and after sitting on some grass for literally less than a minute I got bitten by a huge black killer ant! It hurt so much. I was due something though, the mozzies love Amber, just not me :) We cooked tea then had some cheap drinks in the bar and chillaxed then bed.

Next morning, we got to the beach. And it was absolutely beautiful. We had the beach to ourselves pretty much, and we could go in the sea! Heaven. Although, sand EVERYWHERE! This may seem pretty obvious but I am now learning Amber's huge problem with sand, every two minutes "there's sand EVEYWHERE" "Yes Amber, we are on a beach...!" "I know but I really HATE sand!" And so it goes on :) Love you chick! (Just prepare for Fraser Island...the biggest sand island in the WORLD! haha). We got our stuff together and got onto the Oz Bus to go to Rainbow Beach and met Kyle and Liam on the bus.
