This morning was another "wow" moment. Went on a cave trip from Tavew island. The 45 minute bvoat ride to the get there was pretty awesome in itself the blue colour of the sea is like nothing I have ever seen!
Got to the cave and there was about a 5 metre drop that you had to jump to get into the water. The water was pretty cold compared with the sea I have been in but still heaps warmer than anything in england!
Swam through to an open topped cave where evertyone gathered before moving onto the next cave.
We had to swim, underwater towards a rotrch that was shone by the guide. This was about a metre and a half swim you then had to come up gently because there was about 2 metres where the gap between the water and the roof of the cave was only about a foot before it opend out into a big VERY dark cave!
When we left coral view all the staff were lined up they shook everyones hand and said "Vanaka" (Thankyou) to eveyone indivdually and some even hugged us!
Manta Ray is good - The staff are grumpy + the toilets are "long drops"(NO flus) but the dorm is really nice and there is a beautiful beach :)
The mosquitoes have totally devoured my feet and they are SO itchy!
