Haven't written for a while because quite frankly, i have been having way too much fun!! That and the internet is more over here...have spent the last few days in Vang Vieng in Laos which i love. The place is absolutely stunning and so laid back. A total breath of fresh air after hectic hanoi. The p[eople are amazing as well, so chilled and friendly, and not so cynical as the vietnamese. Took a little while to get here - the bus broke down for a few hours but apparently thsis is pretty common, thankfully they fixed it but the journey was 24 hours. Headed pretty much straight for Vang Vieng and i'm so glad i did - i love it!!! The place is just built around a section of river that ids perfect to float down in a tube. And that is all i did there - for two days! They have set up little bars with swings and beer lao along the way and you just float down, with beautiful mountains on either side. What's not to like??? Met some people who had ended up staying months they loved it so much! A bit touristy with lots of bars playing friends but at the moment its not spoilt.

The girls on the boat to Halong Bay were there - hey Kate and Bec if you read this, so we spent our days floating and our nights drinking buckets of rum and vodka. Was good to have some good old fashioned fun after all the sightseeing!! The rope swings and zip wires were so much fun and i will never forget the video of Kat, sreaming her way from one end to the other and back again. Very funny!!!

Have another bus to catch so will say goodbye and hope to hear from you all soon, season of goodwill and all that!
