So we arrived in hoi an on the 19th after our over night train journey and to be honest it wasn't that bad.
Lucky in our cabin we had a nice Australia couple, they had bottom beds and me and Dave had top, we got on the train about 10 and I think I might have fallen asleep about 11 I was knackered from the long day at halong bay. We both slept ok was a bit bumpy thou.
The train was quite clean the bed was anyway the toilets was a different story they was terrible and stunk I only went once.
We finally arrive in hoi an about half 10 the next morning and jumped in a cab to the hotel.
Oh yeah and we currently have no passports lol our last hotel took them so we could extend are visa as you only get 14 days and we need a month, they have been delayed coming back so the hotel said they will send them to our next hotel so finger crossed they do.
Our hotel was so nice it was good to get away from the mad city of Hanoi.
We haven't got much planned here but to chill out at pool and explore the town as we are only here for couple of days.
That night we headed in to town it was lovely it had lots of shops, restaurants and a river where you can put Laterns in the water it was really pretty. This is the well known place where you get suit, dress etc made but we don't have any room so didn't bother getting anything made, but we did buy a leather hand luggage bag , every other shop is a suit or leather shop, we walked round all night one night to try get best deal on the bag but they do not move on the prices, in Thailand they will hagal with you but here no chance the prices is the price. But good old Dave did get us a bit of a deal £60 for a hand luggage and a wallet bargain.
The breakfast was amazing at the hotel I had a full on breakfast every morning lol. In the day we just chilled round the pool and in the evening we walk round town, night market etc.
One night a couple we had met at the hotel told us to go eat dinner at the food market, it was so good, they had all different sections , meat, salad , fish and something called weird and wonderful which was , pigs ear salad or brain soup some really weird stuff. Me and Dave didn't try any thou.
We finally got are passport back wooohooo.

We have booked a over night bus to take us to nha trang on 23rd it was only $9 for us both mad. The buses are well good thou you have your own little bit and the seats lay right back ( you can see in are pics )
So the bus picked us up about half 6 and we set of for Nha Trang , Dave has got a really bad habit of any long journey we do he takes my head phones really annoying, so he watched a film on iPad and crashed out.
The bus journey was not great it was really uncomfortable only got a couple of hours sleep.

We arrive in Nha Trang at half 5 in morning I have never seen anything like it the beach was packed with people swimming in sea , exercising , watch the sunrise and just walking around, I actually checked the time so many times as couldn't believe how many people was out. The reason the all get up early is because it gets so hot here, so they do everything in the morning before it gets too hot.

We have pre booked an apartment here as we are staying for 10 nights, it feels so good to be back near the beach again after our month of cities
Our apartment is on the 29th floor we have got some really amazing views of the beach.
On the beach they have got some blow up things in the sea like slides and pillows etc Dave can't wait to have a go on them lol.
The first couple days we have been chilling on the beach / pool and we also have a pool on the 5th floor of our apartment building. Dave got up at half 5 one morning at watch the sunrise I didn't lol.

One afternoon Dave got talking to a diving instructor called binh at the bar on the beach so Dave for the last 3 days has now been doing his padi diving course, I didn't do it as I can't dive as my experience in Thailand yes everyone known the embarrassing story lol anyway I have been chilling out round the pool and Dave been doing a couple dives a day and at night reading his book and answering the questions.
So did his last 3 days pay off?
yes he passed and is now a qualified diver at 18 meters well done. We are now meeting binh for a couple of drinks tonight to celebrate.

In Nha Trang there are so many Russians well mostly everyone is Russian lol , even some tours you cant do unless you are Russian, one lady handed us a leaflet and we said we are English she said oh sorry we only deal with Russians,how rude we couldn't believe it. Also the roads are mental, you have to just walk out in the road even when 100s of motorbikes are coming , they just drive round you it is so scary I just cling to daves arm lol.

The next night we sat at the sailing club to have dinner a cool place on the beach, the waiter told us there was going to be a beach party tonight as its independence day in Vietnam, so we had dinner and then the DJ come on, it was good then a couple of acts come out like some Russian dancers and a fire dancing show, we stayed till about 12 think me and Dave are getting old lol.

One night we sat at the beach bar and met a really nice Australian couple and had a few drinks with them, they even offered us to visit them Defo going to take them up on the offer in the future. That night there was another man sitting with us who from Russia but now lives out here he was so annoying , Dave done the funniest thing to him, when he went in the port a loo Dave walk over got a broom and locked him in the stinky toilet, it was hilarious us and the Australia couple was crying with laughter. Brilliant, the ozzy couple said to Dave are you going to let him out? Dave said f*** that he's annoying lol. About 10 mins later a local let him out as he was banging and kicking on the door lol. When he came back to the table Dave said to the ozzys I got stuck in that toilet earlier, with that the jarring man said yeah just happened to me. We were pissing ourselves lol

For the last couple of days in Nha Trang we plan to just chill at beach / pool and hire a bike and explore, until the madness starts when we meeting Georgie boy.
