Sunday was out last day in Melaka and we found a cafe serving a buffet breakfast just around the corner from our hostel. We had a wonder around the old town and I got some photos before I went for a walk along the river, leaving the others at the hostel.

As Ramadan starts tomorrow we didn't want to get back to KL too late so at lunchtime we caught a taxi to the bus station, grabbed an ice cream, and watched Big Momma 2, on the way back.

Opting for a less convoluted route home we took the train from the bus station to just north of Chow Kit and then monorail just one stop. We then had the afternoon to stock up on food ready for cooking for the next week.

Wanting to show me what Yemen food is really all about we went to Bukit Bingtang for dinner at a posh Yemenese restaurant. The food was all flavours and textures, not too hot but very nice, topped off with a traditional mango shake. A good way to end a good weekend!
