Hey everyone!

Well this is our second last day in Broome:( Since i last wrote we have been up too a few things! We went to the world's oldest outdoor cinema a few days ago which is really cool! They only play films at night so that you can actually see the screen. We went to see the Hangover 2 which was actually very funny! Just the type of film my little brother would love! The cinema has rows of deckchairs for seats which were surprisingly comfortable! We got a bit worried when we saw people turning up with pillows! There was a little lizard on the screen which was funny and it was pretty cool to be able to look up and see the stars!

We then went on our Pearl Luggers tour where we learnt all about the old pearlers of Broome and let me tell you i would not want their job! If the boat got a cyclone warning they would just cut the divers line to the boat and leave them there becuase it took them too long to get them back up! The divers had on more than twice their own weight in gear! We got to try pearl meat which is lovely and we held a $100,000 pearl! Then later that day we went down to Town Beach to watch the 'Staircase to the moon' This occurs only a few days a month where the tide is far enough out that when the moon starts to rise it reflects on the mud flats and looks like a staircase. It is very beautiful! My photos don't do it justice but it looks very cool! We did get into an argument in true Reid style with a stupid man but no one got hurt:P The beach was very busy! Practically ever person in Broome was there so you had to be careful not to fall over people in the dark!

Then yesterday Joyce, Richard, Daniel and I all went out for lunch and to the old jetty where we saw a big crab some guy had caught and once the tide had gone out enough we saw tiny little red crabs! I got eaten alive though so i'm pretty itchy today! We then went back to Town Beach to see the moon again but this time it was too cloudy! We had a look around the market that they have on at night though which has some really nice things in it!

Then today we have just been going around town and taking pictures! We went to the Japanese Cemetary which is beautiful! There are a lot of the old pearl divers in the cemetary because they were mostly all Japanese! We then went to the Mangrove Hotel for lunch which has great views and we played some pool which i am rubbish at!

As it stands right now i have uploaded 2 photos in half an hour so there may not be many photos of what i have talked about just yet but we will see!
