Hey everyone!

Well we are finally out in about after about 6 days in the hotel! Neither of us are still right but we are well enough to do some sightseeing!

Yesterday we went to Sydney Wildlife World which was great! We saw Walibies, Wombats, Crocodiles, Bats, Kangeroos and Koalas just to name a few! The best thing was the Koalas. They were so cute! We paid $20 between us to go into their enclosure and get our picture taken with them and stroke them. They were really soft! We were told they sleep up to 22 hours a day! There is one which i have taken a picture of which particularly reminded me of my dad!

Then today we went on one of the open top buses which was really good. The first route took us all around Sydney and then the second one took us out to Bondi Beach. We got off there and had a look around though it was far to cold to go swimming! Though i did manage to get wet when taking a picture of another couple as i wasn't paying attention! Oops! The beach is beautiful. It was really really choppy and we saw the biggest waves that we think we have ever seen. I'm sure they get a lot bigger as well! There were quite a few surfers out as you can imagine. We then went down to Circular Quay which is really cool! We got there after it was dark with the idea of going up one of the towers of the bridge. This however didn't happen. We walked for quite a wee while in the rain to get to the bottom of one of the towers but couldn't see a way in. We think you probably have to go up to bridge level first. We are going to attempt it another day becuase it was too rainy to walk any further! We got to see the Opera House all lit up at night though which was really cool. It is a very very busy place!
