this should have gone on ,on the19/12/04 Queenstown the biggestso far Kawarrau falls...our pitch is just
along the river,
we went shopping to get food, as the food we've eaten out so far has not been good,and as it was snowing in queensland we would love lamb stew. we parked the van in acar park got out, looked up this big moutain ...there we saw a cable car going up the side of it..so in the blink of an eye we were up it up ...up.. 750 mets George thought it was great to rock back and forth...Oh don't do that I said ..did he stop ..did he heck as like , he was laughing so much, ( you know wot he's like ...dont you kids) mountian goats were grazing up the top, I was so scared my maui stuck to the seat like a limpet , it was only when I heard block and tackle I could move. It was good fun. we came down and did our shopping, back at the van , getting the stew ready ..george and I are having a nice glass of wine, then George says he would luv to do a white water run ...so of he went to book it, and you now we did it and it was great.he is trying to put this elastic rope around my ankle's as I write what does this mean.

Dave and I are fine and dandy we are very busy had conor this weekend dave took him xmas shopping for his xmas clothes he has been behaving himself. We went to Lisa's on friday and had pre xmas drink he he. Going to do our food shop today to get all our xmas yummies. I may have picked up another big contract got a call on Saturday from Countryside Lettings offering me all their cleaning work be great if it comes off. Hi Mum & Dad loverly to see your having a great time, camper van looks great must bring back memories of us all camping. Deb & Micheal came down for dinner with sam, hailey her freind on friday we all went to the noodle bar and later we exchanged presents a good time was had by all. Alison has taken Frankie to a christmas show i let you know how they got on, Leahs gone swimming so just me and the two little guys whatching fishing together. Quess what we just did !!....we went on the Kawarau jet boat , sKimming the the river, doing 360% turns, doing 190 kph, it was fantastic...we were on it for 1 hour, I have photo's of us I will try and send them, they were taken on the boat. . we had to wear life jackets and hang on tight...Woooooooooosh ...we were all over the place, it was the best.
I sat last night writting up our letter to you all ,you will just have to wait,I did'nt bring it with me, this trip was to important for you not to hear about straight away.The boat can opperate in 4ins of water when moving...
Queenstown is buzzing, the sun is out today which is great,we are moving on this afternoon, so next time you hear from us will be with the letter I prepared earlier. Thanks to Patty ,John, and Pat for your mail. New Zealand South Island has the best scenery we have seen in the all our travels..they still have snow here which is usualy gone by October...so this is not the norm for them, We have loved every miniute in the van ... Pat we would not mind at all traveling at some point in a van over in OZ .... John ,thanks for you input, I think we're getting fatter not fitter....its allgreat fun over here ...Merry Christmas to you all xxx

Hi you happy travellers !! I'm back on track again,I had a power failure on my computer. I had pulled all the plugs out,but never took the phone connection out, had some bad storms while i was away, and they got me !!!
great to see you are enjoyiong New Zealand, beautiful country, I only wish I were with you both, I miss you, all the family are waiting to see you !! That campervan looks good, perhaps that may be another way we could get round Aussie ??? will look into it !! I'm sure Georgie wouldn't mind having his second woman sharing again ??? ha ha ha .had all my photos put onto disc, they've come out well. so we will have a good time looking through them all.
Look forward to seeing you both again, If I don't get to talk to you again before Christmas, Hope you both have a wonderful time, I'll be here getting ready for you !!I've put the tent up in the back yard, seeing that you are enjoyong the camping thing !!!, and got a truckload of sand, so that you wont miss the beach, I also pinched the kids paddling pool, you'd fit nice and snug in that ha ha ha !!

It is very cold here now. We have had our first snow and they say we will have heavy snow tonight .It was 15 degrees and this week 8 .
You can really see beautiful sites in differant countrys can't you ? Did you think it would be that beautiful ?

Kia Orana to you all ( I thought it was orange juise)Thanks to you all, for leaving us letter its sooooo great when we go on line and read them all...Don't know wots happened to the Humphrys gang !!!!! only adopted daugher is keeping in touch. We ore now in Te Anau which is in Fiordland National Park,yesterday we left Wanaka (I say one knacker....dont know why) and drove through the best sceinery yet, yellow lilac this time ,all the lowlands are full off them they go on for miles and miles... so beautiful . Off to Milford Sounds on to a cruise ship and went to sea for 2.1/2 hours it was wonderful ...I think we have been spoiled...as we travel and have seen such fantacic places we were both a little disappionted, we had to leave there as we missed the only camp site they had, so back we came to Te Anau ...its lovely ...very small ,it has all we need ,as I write George is doing the laudrey, Jackie, your friend is right , our weather is the same ,not very warm quite a bit of rain, we dont care we're having a ball! we just keep rocking ...as the song say's We got our love to keep us warm. Snow on the mountians tops...its fresh Ed ! we will see you when we get to you on Wednesday....we're looking forward to staying at Ed & shelly's beach house after one night in Hamilton...looking forward to it. the photo in the stocks should keep those kids in order till I get there. Kia Ora Kath & George, So good to read your news and hear that you are having a fantastic time in the SI. We have been concerned that the weather would be wet but the photos show otherwise, obviously the forecasters have no idea what happens on the west coast. The girls are missing the funny POMs and looking forward to seeing you in Pauanui next week. We went to the school assembly y/day and the singing was great - even though we had heard the songs plenty. Last day of school today, the girls baked short bread for their teachers and Shelley bought some relaxing water for them to enjoy over the holidays. We are off to the beach tomorrow morning & I will see you on Wednesday morning when I drive back to Hamilton. Keep having a cool time.
