Hi intrepid travellers
Have loved the photos--bringing back great memories. Sounds like you are having an action-packed exciting time and as confused by the wonderful sights and experiences and date changes and different people and cultures as I knew you would be.
What an amazing adventure, and I've heard about this motorhome that's rocking it's way around the country from all the folk I had sent out warnings to that you were on your way!! Nobody can believe that a motorhome can rock that much!!
We are okay--the house has five teachers in and the barn conversion is nearly done--Craig will move his stuff in over the Xmas break
We are going to spend Christmas at Kim's--she has bought a cooker--so if she gets it plumbed in we'll be there. There is still the problem of the bathroom too, but we'll work something out I'm sure!!!If not got frozen bits galore in my freezer!! Craig has bought a Cavalier puppy and the two dogs met last weekend so now he and Karen are going to Skegness too Will be COZY!!!!!
Take care and enjoy every minute! My boss has just got back after her 4 week trip to NZ and just wishes she was still there--loved it, though they experienced every sort of weather.
Enjoy Christmas
Love J & K XXXXXXXXXX

We are on the south Island !! it is beautiful ! our touring van is new we have a 4 berth....our route is taking us across from Christchurch to Greymouth so we did 240 kl. the sceinic views at Arthers pass were covered with millions of pink and lilac lupins, the southern Alps are covered with snow it was fantastic.
Greymouth is on the western coast, We are at Southpark motor park, along the Tasmin Sea, Today we're off to see a heritage attraction, its a replica of a1860s westcoast mining town.
We will then take off and see the fantastic views as we head down to the Glaciers . It is so very green everywhere. Patsy and Brian you will need warm cloths.....i.e zip up body warmers,we hav e borrowed some from Ed!!
Our home, while we travel has every thing we need..... we decided to sleep up top of the driving cab, soooooo I don't have to make the bed up each night !!! well up the ladder we went, it s quite comfey...so the plan is to sleep up top for the 8 days we are here.
