After 21 hours travelling on a bus we arrived at Iguassu Falls. It was on this journey that I became the current reigning champion of Fluffy Bunny. One has to shove as many marshmellows in to one´s mouth as possible and say fluffy bunny until they can go on no longer. So either I had the best technique or the biggest mouth?!
Iguassu Falls are some of the largest waterfalls in the world - they are truly stunning. They are on the border between Brazil and Argentina so we spent 2 days looking at both sides. We also went on a boat ride which dips you into some of the smaller ones. It was absolutely amazing. We also had a bit of a trek through a sub tropical rainforest. No animal incidents to report.
However, animal encounter number 3 - we went to a bird park and were attacked by huge parrots. I actually have visible wound on my shoulder. Poor Leah got the worst of it though, one was trying to bite her ears. So being the good friend I am, I stood, laughed and took pitures.
We also went to a dance show where they performed dances from South America. There was also a huge buffet and was encourged by my companions to let something most fowl(!) pass my lips - chicken heart. I would not advise you to do this under any circumstances.
After the show, people were eagerly taking photographs of themselves with the dancers. Not me and Leah. Before you knew it we´d whipped the hats off the chefs, stolen their knives and hunks of meat and were posing for pictures with them. It put a smile on their faces anyway!
So now we leave Brazil and make our way to Uruguay...
