Hey everyone, finished our Fraser Island trip on Saturday and it was fantastic! Its so bizarre that its completely made of sand yet still has loads of lush rainforest growing on it. We visited some of the freshwater lakes on the island including Lake McKenzie which is so clear that you can swim underwater with your eyes open and still see where you're going! We also saw the Champagne Pools which are like big rockpools and from the lookout at Indian Head we saw Tiger Sharks and Turtles. I drove our jeep down the beach for a bit which was loads of fun but a bit scary! Our group was really good, 8 girls and 1 boy, and we all got on really well which made the trip even better and we celebrated the end of our trip with a few drinks back in Hervey Bay. We came to Noosa on Sunday and are enjoying the chance to chill out on the beaches after a hectic few days. Tomorrow we are heading for Byron Bay and more beaches!
